Here is the news article: https://www.sciencealert.com/vinegar-has-a-surprising-effect-on-depression-study-finds
More importantly, here is the research article: https://www.mdpi.com/2072-6643/16/14/2305
My mouth hurts so that my heart doesn't
Salt and vinegar pringles: brain feels better, chemical burns on tongue
that’s the worst possible kind… and i’ve tried every kind of them
If you've tried them all then you'd know that Pringles Rice Infusions salt and vinegar is worse because it only takes 6 pringles to cause long lasting chemical burns.
At least normal ones are half a tube.
And all BBQ ones are objectively awful, like licking an ashtray that had tomato puree smeared on the bottom.
When you actually drink vinegar but still depressed as hell:
I drink a daily bottle of kombucha, and I'm pretty convinced that (with therapy) helped improve my mental health. I cannot explain how much better I am today than a few years ago when I first started drinking it. Within a few months, I signed up for therapy and within a year I was majorly improved.
IIRC gut microbes influence our bodies so much, so I won’t be suprised if that’s the reason it helped.
The surprising effect? Makes it a billion times worse. /S
