Some time ago, me and @Esche@chaos.social had some fun with aplay
ing some random files we had lying around our computers. In general, aplay -f cd some-random-file
can give you some noisy results ;)
Here are some examples. Included are: /bin/ls, /bin/lsd, /lib/libc.so.6 and an image I made in blender. All of these files are very noisy, usually close to white noise but they sometimes feature a very "digital sound" i.e. randomly pitched square waves (at least it sounds like that to my ears). I also noticed how ls is way shorter than lsd.
