Would dragons be looked down upon in society because they can't walk and carry things at the same time

Talking about feral dragons here.

For example: walking in the grocery store, (assuming it has doors big enough for them to enter by) haven't worked out how they're going to hold a basket yet, but let's say they pick up some parsley, or a head of lettuce, and it's wilty, or has those slimy decaying parts, and they put it back with the same hand they were just touching the floor with.

I know it's pretty normal to do that with humans and most people wash (hopefully) their produce before eating it anyway but our hands also aren't touching the filthy floor all the time.

Would this be acceptable or shameful behavior?

The question does not follow from the premise. You are basically asking "If a group went against social norms would they be shamed for it?".

Why would feral dragons go to the grocery store?

I think the word you were looking for is Quadrapedal.
