Google wants a robots.txt equivalent for AI training

Literally just respect the already existing robots.txt file wtf??

They’re saying this immediately after saying “Anything online we can use to train our AI”

They know it’ll be years until anything is actually implemented and used. By that point google will have consumed all the data they want, but anyone else wanting to do the same thing will be restricted.

Typical. Planning to kill competition, preventing anyone else getting close to their quality in the future.
