What is this forbidden muffin?

Could be a very young black staining polypore, but I'm not an expert.
- I was thinking Dyer's Polypore (Phaeolus schweinitzii). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phaeolus_schweinitzii - and yeah, kinda hard to tell as it's pretty small.
