Very interesting "coincidence" : 110 kms² of land was forcibly annexed last year, more than all the settlements since 1967 combined !

80km² isn't a lot though, since the west bank has an area of 5860km² that's only 1.4%, this may still be valid if there're different ways of counting, but if these 110km² are counted in the same way that may mean something

If it had indeed greatly accelerated since last year, then it'd be a(nother) justification for this exceptional palestinian "counter-attack"(, it could perhaps also point to a voluntary casus belli, in order to accelerate a prior decision, i can't know).
