Are they trying to spin that loss for a tax break or bailout yet? I've been waiting for Elon to try for some kind of tax payer handout or write off since he bought the company.

Right? That's the whole reason the board jumped on the deal. He was offering way too much money for the company. If someone knocked on my door and offered a million bucks for my house I'd take them up on that offer without a second thought for the same exact reason.
