I've implemented most of the requested features in the previous roadmap post.
I'm also working with the lemmy.world admins to get photon hosted there ๐
I made this post to ask, what do you want to see in photon now?

Thank you for all of your work on this.
Added a lot of those!
In addition to what the others have said (particularly the Top sorting options and markdown toolbar), I'd like a way to link directly to a comment. We already have the thread view, so it would just be a matter of adding a link to each comment. (Update: Just made this PR #56)
Another easy and quick change is to add a preview button to posts bodies (just like comments).
For the PWA, you can consider adding notifications (optional of course), but I don't think this is a big deal.
I think handling of adding new communities could be better (or present at all). Right now, I have to use the traditional lemmy-ui to add a community that hasn't been visited yet and refresh a few times. This isn't the fault of Photon, but I would if it could make this process smoother.
Finally, I look forward to the completion of the admin tools such as approving new applicants.
Overall, I'm very happy with the state of Photon and have been using it daily on desktop and mobile :]
First of all, great job, this is now my new way to browse Lemmy on Desktop :)
I would like to make some suggestions for you to consider:
thanks again for all your effort
I don't love the full-width design to be honest, I'd love to have the previous narrower view as an option. Also, like others mentioned, more Top sort options. Thank you for all the hard work on Photon!
i cannot win with any change i make lol
Lol sorry! In my defense you weren't a fan either! I briefly looked into customizing my Photon instance to make it narrower but I couldn't figure it out. Don't sweat it though!
