How do you feel about grilling whole onions?

This is a bit of a cultural thing. Grilling whole onions. It's my favorite, I could eat 4 in one sitting.

That looks delicious. I believe it was also very common to just bake whole onions in victorian times as a hearty meal on a string budget
- Onions and bread in some areas of the middle east as a string budget meal. Last resort. That's interesting stuff there. :)
