Proposal:Continuous crossings - OpenStreetMap Wiki

I did not yet fully understand this proposal in its current state, since there are lot of different possibilities to tag sidewalks, footpathes etc.

What do you think?

I usually map these with a bare node - you could also use crossing=unmarked. I honestly don't think a new tag is necessary.
