Are we selling weapons to Ukraine? Or are they donations?

Donations in the same way I give a dollar to salvation army and don't expect to ever cash in on my dollar

Why is this question getting downvoted?
- My guess is the same account spamming about running for mayor of Ottawa is showing an inability to read any story on donations to Ukraine since we started donations over a year ago.

They’re donations.
I think it's important to note that this isn't just throwing money in to a hole. The stuff we donate is mostly made in Canada, so there's some economic kickback
