Just beat Factorio (launched a rocket) for the first time a couple of days ago. Feels good.
Default settings, and I got the Lazy Bastard, no lasers, no solar, no provider/buffer/requestor chests, and SLaTfAtF achievements in one go after about 80 hours in.
Continuing the Factory for now to farm the 20m Green Circuit production achievement. Slowly transitioning from a main bus factory to a city blocks factory. Blue circuits are my bottleneck, so I'm working on scaling up production off-bus.
Planning to go for the speedrun achievements next weekend. Want to 100% the game before the new expansion they've been teasing drops.
The factory must grow.
Just bought ratchet and clank rift apart on PC and really enjoying it. Playing in bed on my steam deck has taken over my last few nights

I wasn't going to jump on it because I have an enormous game backlog, but buying the bundle (pre-launch), since I already owned the first one, was $25. Money very well spent for this game in my opinion.
Very little time to play lately, so when I can I do a couple of runs in Dead Cells. Managed to get my friends online last Friday and we had a good session of Deep Rock Galactic. Good fun.

I've bought all the soulsborne games on release going back to Demons Souls, and I just sucked at them.
I am finally playing Bloodborne after giving up at the first boss many times over the years, playing co op with my girlfriend, who has beaten them all and platinumed quite a few.
While I got good enough to beat most of them, except Sekiro, I just couldn't get the rhythm of Bloodborne, and always gave up, even though I know many people consider it the best in the series.
Going back to my tried and true method of "Just keep grinding and leveling up till you figure it out" finally worked, I beat the first main boss yesterday (with her as summons).
Really looking forward to this one as I've done a pretty good job of avoiding spoilers.
I recently fell back into super monkey ball banana mania and I've been having a lot of fun with it. Outside of that, it's been a good rotation of call of duty and the binding of Isaac. If you couldn't tell, I really love slamming my head against the wall as well

The Hunter: Call Of The Wild. Not as focused of a hunting game as you think. I find it a super chill walking nature simulator with amazing views and animal models.
I got into this game when RDR2 awakened a need for a good hunting game in me. I really enjoyed my time with it! Looking forward to the fishing one once they iron out most of the issues.
I wish they were the same game I’d pay twice for it as the Angler forests, ambience and maps are no where near as good as the hunter. Waiting for a need zone? Throw a line out and have a fish.
Really getting into the God of War on PC. Also, Blizzcon kinda refreshed my hopes in Overwatch, so have been coming back to it, as well
What about Blizzcon brought hope for you? I remember they actually cut off the world championship livestream halfway through so they could do their presentation instead.
I've never had much hope for eSports anyway, so not that :) But the "what's next" section had some pretty promising stuff planned for next year. Of course, there's always chance it could end up like PvE promises, but the new stuff should start coming in only like 2-3 months from now, so I am wait and see.
I guess it's not that I full 100% hopeful for OW now, but rather cautiously optimistic - which is still an upgrade over how I used to feel
I have never owned a PlayStation but played GoW on PC last year and enjoyed every minute of it. It ran great and was a great story and combat system. I can't wait for ragnarok to come to PC.

I got foxhole a few days ago, and while I haven't done anything aside from Frontline fighting yet, I'm hooked.
I'm in the same boat. I've mainly been doing logistics. But sometimes I'll bring up a field gun or tank to use.

World of Horror has been a blast.
Detroit become human, my PC struggling with it at 1080p. I'm still having a lot of fun though

I finally tried Death Stranding a couple of days ago. I'm still on it. The visuals and storytelling are quite compelling.
I do understand why it's not for most people, though. You do put a lot of effort into walking, but honestly, I've played harder games for less, so it's quite alright for me.
You do eventually get better accessories and become faster.
Ratchet And Clank: Rift Apart is also an amazing game. Rather relaxing to play. The visuals and story are also quite nice.
Nice choice on both. Death Stranding in particular I think I put more effort into building infrastructure to trivialise or avoid walking than I did on anything else. And I loved it.

I barely time to game, but have recently sunk 60 hrs into Elden Ring - with no intention of stopping! It is phenomenal!
The little red ball things that give you health when you kill them make exploring the map so much fun. I made it a challenge to see how far I could explore without resting at a grace by actively seeking out those red ball enemies and it was so much fun.
I'm finding it a bit underwhelming to be honest. It was so hyped, but it just feels like Dark Souls 4. I don't find the open world really adds a lot apart from a lot of empty space filled with crafting components. The worlds in souls and sekiro were so carefully crafted and put together and I feel like the open world ruins that a bit. I guess after Sekiro did something similar but significantly different, I was expecting Elden Ring to be a bit more innovative. If I hadn't already played the hell out of the three Dark Souls games I might enjoy Elden more. I'll probably still beat it though and might change my opinion by the end - I certainly hated Sekiro and Dark Souls at times before I came to love them.
I am curious to see if your opinion changes as you get through it, as the more I explore the more I find unexpectedly unique and interesting areas (caves, wells, ruins, manors, towers, etc) with unique and well designed enemies and bosses at every turn. It may help a lot that I have never played a souls game so it all feels very new to me!
I’ve been drawn back into modded terraria recently and loving every minute. Highly recommend modded if you’ve played before or if you’re new to terraria magic storage is an amazing addition that doesn’t change the core experience.

roboquest, A super fun shooter i have been playing with my son just left early access with a ton of new stuff to do. We will be playing that for a couple weeks.
I picked that up when I saw it hit 1.0 and I've been loving it. I've kind of struggled to get into similar games like Risk of Rain 2 and Gunfire Reborn but this one "clicked" with me.
starfield. fortnite. backyard baseball (i LOST the super mega collosal super championship of the future thing). call of duty world war 2 (i still destroy in that game 😎). madden 10 (i cant stop winning by 40 points)

I've been playing old RPGs the past few months, and a lot of them are painful. I've realized that most of them didn't really have much content, but they forced you to grind levels between bosses to make it last longer.
That being said, last weekend I started Final Fantasy V.
This is what a JRPG should feel like! It's hard to explain, but it flows so well. I've had some challenging encounters, but changing my strategy usually gets me through it in two or three attempts.
I think I'm going to get further in this one than I have with most others. (I have WAY too many ROMs backlogged to waste time on games that I am not excited to boot up)
I picked up Diablo 3 a while ago but didn't really play until now. Finished the campaign, jumped to adventure mode, got my 6 piece set and I'm now grinding for ancients. I just finished a greater rift lvl 100. It's fun so far but I should probably have started a seasonal character instead of a standard. But I'm too lazy to do it all again.
Yeah that would be my tip. Once the seasons end in these games, they are transferred over to become non-seasonal characers so nothing is lost.
But that can be a solution for the next one! d3 is such a fun game
Prodeus. Amazing tribute to the classic doom games. Retro style with modern elements, gun play and sound design is spot on
Last month I replayed assassin's creed, now on ac 2. Its still soo good. Somehow managed to fully upgrade the villa before memory block 5, so I guess no need to worry about money anymore. You could say this playthrough Ezio bacame the banker his dad wanted him to be
I miss THE FINALS. I hope it releases before Christmas
Mostly Inkbound. 2 friends suggested it on the same day a couple weeks ago so I gave it a shot. It kind of feels like turn based Hades. There's enough RNG to keep things interesting, and enough choice to let you explore different builds.
Also playing KeyWe with my girlfriend. It's a series of mini games where you play as kiwi birds in a post office. Some of the tasks can feel tedious and the mechanics could use some polish, but overall it's a good co-op game with cute animals and outfits.
The Finals Playtest. To be honest it is pretty fun.
Sad the beta is over, I was just finding my groove as medium after playing small the whole time.
Path of Exiles. Been many years since I last played, so it's pretty much a new game to me.
Also playing Sea of Thieves, but not as much as I'd like - it's boring sailing solo.
I had a whole earlier this year where I was playing nothing but SoT, nothing but solo slooping. Idk why, there's just something calming about the open sea when on your own; but there's also something harrowing about it too.
I had set a goal of saving up for my own ship, so when they came out with the 50% off sale this summer it was the perfect time to grind a bit. Then once I had my own "captained" ship I was able to make WAY more money.
got a chance to try lethal company on steam - it's a really fun online co-op horror roguelike where you scavenge for parts on moons that may or may not be inhabited. corporate doesn't care what's in these caves as long as it makes them money. great with friends or randoms, the proximity chat makes for a fun and scary experience with a drg / viscera cleanup style corporate setting.
also played through most of greener grass awaits, which is a unique and fun horror golf game - also free. i recommend at least trying it out, the horror gameplay elements mesh with the golf in a novel way that makes for a rare horror game with engaging moment to moment gameplay.
Played Just over the weekend. Good, short game.
Been playing Return to Moria with a friend and we're having a blast! Got to do a few games of The Finals playtest and that was great fun.
Also got to test a few games of CS2 and actually enjoyed that more than expected as well.
Also been playing RTM with a friend the past week. Definitely fun but still pretty buggy. TBH it's the sweet spot for us LOTR fans and Survival fans. It's got a bit of both but does not excel in any of them.
The more I play it, the more I enjoy it. Sure it has its flaws and definite issues, but they've also hit a perfect mid of systems to manage (food, temps, disease etc) where it makes sense and it's not too overbearing. They've also included a hefty amount of welcome QoL changes.
Still, I can't craft bulk cloth at once etc and some of those things irk me. The procedural (?) generation is a bit repetitive and mob spawns are a complete mess
I'm almost done with my current playthrough of GTA4, started a new modded game of Skyrim so I can bash people around with two-handed weapons, been diving back into Exanima and I've been trying out the Half Sword demo as well.
I really want to sink my teeth into Tainted Grail, but it's still EA and my current save doesn't work.
I wish I knew.
I tried Quake Champions for the first time earlier but I don't think I'll get into it.
Robocraft 2 just launched and I have no desire to play it after reading reviews.
I streamed Nosferatu: Wrath of Malachi on Halloween and magically beat it in 3 sessions with the best possible ending. So now that's done. I just don't know, man.
Risk Global Domination
Working on getting the last trophy in the Demon’s Souls remake. Just need to get all the spells and I’m set. Almost through my run getting the spells from Frake then need to new game plus to get the ones from Yuria.
Warframe - Plague star is back, and that means F O R M A. i suspect my time will be monopolized by that until i completely burn out.

I've been playing a lot of Surviving Mars lately. It's like a city builder without most of the boring stuff, and needing to keep an eye on your resources while you are trying to build a colony on a hostile planet gives it a survival vibe.
I just finished Ghost Recon Wildlands for the like 3rd time.
Is fallen ghosts and narco road dlc worth it, or should I buy breakpoint instead? I heard a lot of good shit about breakpoint.
Man I still haven't finished that game once and it's been years lol. The DLCs are cool, the Predator one is hard as hell, so come prepared.

Finally got round to playing lego star wars the skywalker saga. Been having a blast, it's not difficult at all (I wasn't expecting it to be) but just so much fun to sit and chill with.
Working towards 100%ing it now, which I think is going to take quite a while! I'm at almost 60hrs now, with 64% completion.
It definitely takes a while. Some side content is really just tedious, but I try to power through some days. I'm still not there yet though lol.
Tbh playing it makes me want them to remake some of the older games (especially Lego Harry Potter) in the new style. Having a full 3D Lego Hogwarts to explore would be pretty cool, and having that over-the-shoulder aiming for spells would be pretty cool too.
Slowly churning my way through sekiro. Beating elden ring have me confidence to return to older from games.
Lies of P on PS5. Just started it and it’s effing excellent.
Just finished the first Phoenix Wright, almost done with Warioland 4 and I think I’m at the end of act two of Baldurs Gate 3. Not enjoying bg3 as much as others unfortunately, maybe crpg is just not my thing.

Recently got to playing the Tomb Raider trilogy I got from Epic Games.
Done with the first one, working on the second one atm. (Fuck that bear at the start. Fucking menace.)
I prefer these games at the lowest setting because, for me, the biggest part of these games that I SHOULD be involved in is the story. Anything that keeps me from that is a bother, to me at least.
The story is fun, the gameplay is exciting and thank GOD they figured out SHIFT to sprint by the second game, amirite guys?!
PS - Suggest a good MyAnimeList or IMDb equivalent for gaming... I saw Backloggd is pretty cool...

Are all the features that were supposed to be there at launch added yet? I absolutely loved the game for the first month or two, and so did my friend group that played with me, but it was quickly becoming clear that it wouldn't be a finished product any time soon. I was so rooting for it to be good because the highs are so high. Sadly the lows were much lower
I never played at launch, but friends that have are praising it as a big return to form. The only thing that is sort of annoying is the crafting system and map variety is a bit limited. Other than that, I count down the minutes until everyone in my house is in bed so I can jump on and slay in the Emperor's name.
