It was pretty funny seeing these two goofing off and then hearing the final boarding call for that particular flight asking the last passenger to come to the gate posthaste.
You captured a good little moment
Depending on where that flight is headed, they may have to wait until that passenger boards to load their bag, so those two might be engaged in classic airline 'wait to hurry up'.
I was thinking that this was exactly what happened.
This happened to me last week. I had a connection in Houston and by the time I got off the first plane my connecting flight was fully boarded except for me. I was running through the airport while they were calling my name over and over on the PA. I barely made it, but being late wasn’t my fault!
Don't tell me you were that last passenger...
