Heheh got Shadowheart as Tempest cleric in BG3... and if that experience is anything to go on, you need to add "I wish I could" HIT SOMETHING for the cleric.

Whatchu talking about? My SH is a blaster in Tempest. Call lightning is ridiculously overpowered. Same with Thunder wave. Plus if you give her plenty of Str and a big ol’ Morningstar, she will fuck shit up. She just lacks extra attack but that’s asking too much I think.
My wife plays a tempest cleric in my 5e game, every single outdoor battle starts with her asking about the weather, then upcasting call lightning, using her channel divinity to max out the damage and just melting everything in sight
Just run around with a skillet and Cast Iron
