F1 Las Vegas GP: FP1 cut short for circuit repairs after Sainz hits drain

Wouldn’t it be ironic if this is the first in a string of such incidents and they have to cancel the GP due to track issues?
- So far this race weekend has been a huge letdown for F1. Drivers are commenting on the track layout, attendance is low, stuff like this happens... I doubt this race will be back next year.
  
  Didn't they sign a multi-year deal already?
- The real problem is that those roads carry big money for Vegas during the day, so they can only work on this thing at night.
