Why shouldn't men understand that?
It's rather simple. I went shopping with my teenage daughter (on one of her good days LOL) and she explained it to me thoroughly, and went for cargo style.
It does seem simple to explain, which adds to the mystery. I'll often wear something like my jean jacket just for a place to carry things.
What's not to understand about that?
That's what I'd like to know. It's 2023 and we still can't hold so much as our hands in our pockets because of gender norms, so someone somewhere doesn't understand the struggle.

I suspect the fashion makers understand things pretty well. And they do it anyway, because they think women should wear things like that.
It's crazy to me how small women's pants pockets are. Like dayum y'all really can't hold shit in there
It drives me nuts that little girl pants have no pockets, but boy pants do!
