I don't understand how you can deal with Well when like every raid encounter in the game minus Rhulk is designed around a damage phase with a buttload of splash damage. You basically couldn't damage most raid and dungeon bosses without it.
They could design them differently going forward, of course, but nearly all of the current ones seem to be made with the intention of using Well.
It’s also because like all encounters don’t require you to move during damage.
I can think of three other encounters where Well is just “less useful”:
- Crota, because he can destroy the Well.
- The Hydra from Garden/Spire, because you have to move forward somewhat.
- The Boss from Prophecy, because you have to move forward.
Like if they made more encounters like Rhulk where you can’t just stand still and hold RT then Well wouldn’t be as OP.
Crota, because he can destroy the Well
Have your Well player be tractor; boop once for sword guys, sword guys -> Crota kneels, Well jump in air and plant well on his head or back. Counts as a body shot and he can't break the well now.
I’ve still had him break the floating well occasionally.
