Salamanders Jump Captain
  • It’s nothing fancy. I recently switched to an undercoat of Vallejo Game Color Sick Green direct on the model then 1-2 layers of Warpstone Glow. Edge highlights are Moot Green.

I was using the standard GW method of Warpstone over Caliban but I found it to be a pain b/c it took 3+ layers of Warpstone to get no streaks and it came out kind of dark.

  • No. They’re making it so everything is basically doing surge damage.

  • TWID - 6/20/2024

    TL;DR:

    • Surges are getting removed from Raids and Dungeons next week and HP and damage values are being adjusted to compensate.
    • GMs and Salvation's Edge go live June 25th.

  • Thanks. It’s from a goonhammer.com guide and I’m just changing a few things based on the paints I have.

  • Necrons WIP

Starting my Necrons with the KT box. I wasn’t sure about the color scheme till I painted the blue lines which made it come alive.

Still not sure what to paint the bases other than black to get a good contrast. Open to any ideas.

TFS - Salvation's Edge Crafted Weapons

We can finally see the Raid weapons on light.gg so let's look at what they're packing.

    -----------------------

Origin Trait: Collective Purpose - Gain bonus range and handling when near allies. Bows get better draw time. Swords get better charge rate. Stacks with more allies.

Critical Anomaly - Stasis Aggressive Sniper Rifle:

    • First Column:
      • Reconstruction
      • Chill Clip
      • Rewind Rounds
      • Keep Away
      • Opening Shot
      • Quickdraw
    • Second Column:
      • Bait and Switch
      • Headstone
      • Chaos Reshaped - Gains bonus damage that stacks the longer the wielder is in combat. Periodically heals the wielder.
      • Explosive Payload
      • Triple Tap
      • Firing Line
      • Snapshot Sights
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Reconstruction/Rewind Rounds + Bait and Switch/Headstone/Triple Tap. Chill Clip Headstone.
      • PVP: Keep Away/Opening Shot + Snapshot
    • Thoughts:
      • Chill Clip seems interesting if you combine it with headstone.
      • The new perk might be good but I think it's going to do better on primary weapons.
      • If snipers ever get good for DPS again this might be able to compete with Succession.

    Imminence - Strand Lightweight SMG:

    • First Column:
      • Demolitionist
      • Slice
      • Enlightened Action
      • Dynamic Sway reduction
      • Pugilist
      • Perpetual Motion
    • Second Column:
      • Hatchling
      • Kill Clip
      • Chaos Reshaped
      • Target Lock
      • Desperate Measures
      • Firefly
      • Strategist.
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Slice/Demolitionist/Pugilist + Hatchling/Kill Clip/Chaos Reshaped/Firefly
      • PVP: Slice/Enlightened Action/DSR/Perpetual Motion + Kill Clip/Target Lock
    • Thoughts:
      • Get ready for another SMG in PVP.
      • Many ways to run this for PVE. I'm most interested in the new perk Chaos Reshaped to see how it performs.
      • I list hatchling on all the weapons that have it because of how it fits with Strand but I personally think it's a bad perk and needs a buff to be relevant.

    Non-Denouement - Arc Precision Bow:

    • First Column:
      • Archer's Tempo
      • Dragonfly
      • Opening Shot
      • Shoot to Loot
    • Second Column:
      • Voltshot
      • Chaos Reshaped
      • Explosive Head
      • Desperate Gambit - Hipfire precision hits grant a massive draw speed bonus.
      • Moving Target.
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Archer's Tempo + Volshot. Done. Maybe you could argue Dragonfly but why would you?
    • Thoughts:
      • So they're just giving us legendary Trinity Ghoul?
      • Bows are annoying in PVP.

Forthcoming Deviance - Void Rapid Fire Glaive:

    • First Column:
      • Reconstruction
      • Replenishing Aegis
      • Demolitionist
      • Grave Robber
    • Second Column:
      • Chain Reaction
      • Chaos Reshaped
      • Destabilizing Rounds
      • Close to Melee
      • Desperate Measures
      • Vorpal
      • Unstoppable force
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Any perk combo listed above. I'd personally go Reconstruction + Chain Reaction.
    • Thoughts:
      • I find glaives to be really not fun to use. I guess this one gets rid of my biggest problem which is their piss poor reload by having nearly all reload bypass perks in the first column. I'm thinking chain reaction will help you keep the shield energized with AoE kills.

Nullify - Solar Heavy Burst Pulse Rifle:

    • First Column:
      • Rapid Hit
      • Heal Clip
      • Subsistence
      • Demolitionist
      • Firefly
    • Second Column:
      • Incandescent
      • Chaos Reshaped
      • Multikill Clip
      • Adrenaline Junkie
      • Vorpal
      • Desperate Measures.
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Rapid Hit/Heal Clip/Subistence/Firefly + Incandescent/Chaos Reshaped.
      • PVP: Not really seeing much here.
    • Thoughts:
      • Personally I'm going with Firefly + Incandescent. I got Adhorative last season which has my Heal Clip + Incandescent PR covered.

Summum Bonum - Arc Wave Frame Sword:

    • First Column:
      • Tireless Blade
      • Relentless Strikes
      • Attrition Orbs
      • Unrelenting
      • Strategist
    • Second Column:
      • Chaos Reshaped
      • Chain Reaction
      • Bait and Switch
      • Whirlwind Blade
      • Surrounded
      • One for All
      • Vorpal
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Lots of options. I'm not really a sword guy so I don't know what to use in the first column but I'm sure as shit using Chain Reaction or Bait and Switch in the second column.

  • Destiny 2 - The Journey Ahead

Covers what to expect with Episodes for the next year. D2 Codename: Frontiers is coming in 2025, no other details on what that is exactly.

    3
TFS - Ritual Weapons - PVP

Time to look at the new and returning weapons for ritual activities. I'm just going to mention the origin traits for each one along with the standout perks.

    ------------------------------------

The Riposte - Void Lightweight Auto Rifle:

    Source: Competitive Crucible

    • First Column:
      • To the Pain
      • Killing Wind
      • Zen Moment
      • Enlightened Action
      • Tap the Trigger
      • Repulsor Brace
    • Second Column:
      • Kill Clip
      • Encore
      • Desperate Measures
      • Dynamic Sway Reduction
      • Target Lock
      • Destabilizing Rounds
    • Combos:
      • This is a PVP gun through and through and I don't think you can go wrong with any perks unless you get repulsor brace in the first column and not destabilizing in the second.
    • Thoughts:
      • This is the first Lightweight AR we've ever gotten (?). Going to be real interesting to see how it shakes out as ARs are pretty hot right now in PVP. It has killer perks all around too.

Aisha's Care - Omolon Strand Heavy Burst Pulse Rifle:

    Source: Trials

    • First Column:
      • High Impact Reserves
      • To the Pain
      • Encore
      • Slice
      • Zen Moment
      • Keep Away
    • Second Column:
      • Moving Target
      • Headseeker
      • Golden Tricorn
      • Desperado
      • Kill Clip
      • Hatchling
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Slice/Keep Away + Hatchling/Kill Clip
      • PVP: Avoid Gutshot Straight in the First and Collective Action in the second.
    • Thoughts:
      • Heavy burst pulse rifles are new this season so I'm interested to actually get one and see how they do.
      • This one looks like it has solid perks and leans more towards PVP than PVE which is a nice change for a Trials weapon.

Better Devils - Nadir Strand 140rpm HC:

    Source: Crucible Engrams

    • First Column:
      • Demolitionist
      • Enlightened Action
      • Slice
      • Perpetual Motion
      • Moving Target
      • Rangefinder
      • Rapid Hit
      • Reconstruction
    • Second Column:
      • Adreneline Junkie
      • Elemental Capacitor
      • Frenzy
      • Hatchling
      • Zen Moment
      • Explosive Payload
      • Kill Clip
      • Opening Shot
      • One For Alll
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Slice/Rapid Hit/Reconstruction + Frenzy/Hatchling/Explosive Payload/Kill Clip/OFA. Demo + AJ
      • PVP: EA/PM/MT/RF/RH + EC/ZM/EP/KC/OS
    • Thoughts:
      • Another fan favorite returns. I never used this thing in the past but I'm sure it coming back as Strand is a big deal. The other Strand 140 we have is from Season of the Witch and it doesn't really have PVE perks.
      • Lots of perk combos to choose from and since this is one of those guns with 12 perks per column you'll probably want to wait to farm them till you reset your Crucible rank if that's your thing.

    Crimil's Dagger - Hakke Kinetic 120rpm HC:

    Source: Iron Banner

    • First Column:
      • Outlaw
      • Moving Target
      • Slideways
      • Enlightened Action
    • Second Column:
      • Adagio
      • Opening Shot
      • Zen Moment
      • Explosive Payload
      • Kill Clip
    • Combos:
      • Take your pick of the above perks. They'll all work okay together in PVP.
    • Thoughts:
      • This one looks like a PVP only gun IMO. Lots of good combos to choose from. Adagio might be disgusting if you can keep it proc'd

Claws of the Wolf - Void Rapid Fire Scout:

    Source: Iron Banner

    • First Column:
      • Perpetual Motion
      • Elemental Capacitor
      • To the Pain
      • Repulsor Brace
      • Headseeker
    • Second Column:
      • Zen Moment
      • Destabilizing Rounds
      • Kill Clip
      • Rampage
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Repulsor + Destabilizing. Perpetual Motion + KC/Rampage
    • PVP: Anything but Repulsor + Destabilizing
    • Thoughts:
      • Didn't get a good Aisha's Embrace from Trials? Saladin has you covered.
      • Again scouts are in a weird spot but Rapid Fires tend to perform well in PVP.
      • Can be used to stun champs in PVE.

Shayura's Wrath - Nadir Void Precision SMG:

    Source: Trials

    • First Column:
      • Strategist
      • Zen Moment
      • Killing Wind
      • Dynamic Sway Reduction
      • Repulsor Brace
    • Second Column:
      • Target Lock
      • Harmony
      • Cascade Point
      • Destabilizing Rounds
      • Kill Clip
      • Tap the Trigger
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Repulsor + Destabilizing is probably the standout.
      • PVP: So many options. Just stick away from Keep Away and High Impact Reserves.
    • Thoughts:
      • This gun goes hard in PVP and is kind of slept on since it left the rotation. I don't believe it had Target Lock before so that's obviously going to be really good.
      • Don't sleep on Harmony or Cascade Point. Pair this weapon with Eye of Sol or another gun that nabs easy kills in the first column. Swap to Shayura's after a kill with that gun. Then melt anyone who tries to challenge you.

A Few other guns returning with unchanged perk pools or nothing worth noting:

    • Eye of Sol - Trials
    • Steady Hand - IB
    0
    Episode 1: Echos - Saint-14 Weapons

Let's take a look at the returning Saint-14 weapons from Season of the Dawn. These weapons are NOT craftable and can be rolled from the war table using Echoes Engrams. Again, I'm only listing perks I think are worth it.

    -----------------------------------

Origin Trait: Cast no Shadows - Dealing melee damage increases weapon handling and loads a small amount of ammo to the mag.

Patron of Lost Causes - Kinetic Lightweight Scout Rifle:

    • First Column:
      • To the Pain
      • Stats for All
      • Strategist
      • Rapid Hit
      • Triple Tap
    • Second Column:
      • Precision Instrument
      • Kinetic Tremors
      • Vorpal
      • Explosive Payload
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Stats For All/Rapid Hit + Kinetic Tremors/Precision Instrument/Vorpal
      • PVP: To The Pain/Rapid Hit + Explosive Payload
    • Thoughts:
      • Scouts are still in a weird spot in both parts of the game. In PVE I basically see them as champion stunning tools and in PVE I'm not taking this over my Hung Jury.
      • PVP might have some more use for this as Lightweights tend to do better there especially with explosive payload.

Perfect Paradox - Kinetic Rapid Fire Shotgun:

    • First Column:
      • Threat Remover
      • Pugilist
      • Slideshot
      • Threat Detector
    • Second Column:
      • One Two Punch
      • Vorpal
      • Opening Shot
      • Swashbuckler
      • Trench Barrel
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Anything except Slideshot + Opening Shot
      • PVP: Slideshot + Opening Shot/One Two Punch
    • Thoughts:
      • One of the best shotguns in the game is back, although I feel like shotguns have changed a lot since this was in its prime and it might be not great now.
      • Lots of good PVE combos to choose from. I'm particularly interested in Threat Remover + Trench Barrel.
      • IDK if I would use this in PVP but it has the one combo for that if you're interested.

Breachlight - Strand Heavy Burst Sidearm:

    • First Column:
      • Slice
      • Threat Detector
      • Perpetual Motion
      • Pugilist
      • Demolitionist
    • Second Column:
      • Hatchling
      • Vorpal
      • Swashbuckler
      • Adrenaline Junkie
      • Desperate Measures
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Lots of good combos. Slice + Hatchling if you want to lean hard into Strand.
      • PVP: Probably Threat Detector + Swashbuckler/AJ/Desperate Measures.
    • Thoughts:
      • Another banger of a weapon from that season returns. We also haven't gotten a Heavy Burst sidearm in a while. It coming back a strand is a huge boon too.
      • Definitely farm for this one. I'm probably looking for Slice + Hatchling.

Martyr's Retribution - Solar Wave Frame GL:

    • First Column:
      • Envious Assassin
      • Auto Loading Holster
      • Heal Clip
      • Demolitionist
      • Field Prep
    • Second Column:
      • Vorpal
      • Incandescent
      • Desperate Measures
      • Strategist
      • Kill Clip
    • Combos:
      • This looks mostly like a PVE gun and there are so many options.
    • Thoughts:
      • This thing is absolutely stacked with good perks. I'm probably looking for Envious Assassin/Auto Loading Holster + Incandescent for maximum add clear. I could see an argument for Heal Clip but I think I'd personally rather have that on a primary ammo gun.

Line In the Sand - Arc Precision LRF:

    • First Column:
      • Clown Cartridge
      • Demolitionist
      • Rapid Hit
    • Second Column:
      • Bait and Switch
      • Firing Line
    • Combos:
      • This is a hard PVE gun with some obvious combos.
    • Thoughts:
      • LFRs probably will never be as good as they once were. This one has some good combos. Take your pick between Bait and Switch or Firing Line depending on how much you want to micromanage your DPS. I think Demolitionist will get you the most out of a DPS phase too but the others aren't terrible.

    Datto: How to Unlock Khvostov
  • PSA: Bungie has disabled the bugged Servitor boss he mentions in the video. You currently cannot acquire the exotic Khvostov till that is fixed.

  • TFS Crafted Weapons - The Pale Heart
  • I think you’re right. I was getting mixed up with High Impact frame MGs.

  • New 12 man activity Excision available

Salvations Edge has been cleared and a new 12 man activity is available to launch on the Pale Heart. You must have completed the campaign and the Wild Card mission to launch it.

Episode 1: Echoes - Crafted Weapons

Going to look at all the episodic weapons in this post and what might be some good rolls to craft.

    -----------------------------------------

Origin Trait: Radiolaria Transposer - Rapid final blows cause combatants to explode into a pool of radiolaria.

Veiled Threat - Stasis Rapid Fire Auto Rifle:

    • First Column:
      • Threat Detector
      • To The Pain
      • Strategist
    • Second Column:
      • Desperate Measures
      • Encore
      • Moving Target
    • Combos:
      • Take your pick of the 6 above perks. They'll all work okay together in PVP
    • Thoughts:
      • Based on the available perks this looks like it's set up to be a PVP weapon. Nothing really jumps out at me for PVE and if I'm bringing a Stasis AR into PVE it's going to be Krait.

Lost Signal - Stasis Area Denial Special Grenade Launcher:

    • First Column:
      • Auto Loading Holster
    • Second Column:
      • Demolitionist
      • Reverberation: Final blows increase the size of detonations
      • Vorpal
      • One for All
      • Wellspring
    • Combos:
      • ALH + Whatever you want.
    • Thoughts:
      • This is probably one of the wildest guns we've gotten behind the new exotic sword.
      • For PVE Auto Loading Holster is hands down the perk to have in column one. There's others that are decent but I think having a GL loaded basically on demand beats them all.
      • In the second column you've got a ton of perks to choose from. I think Demolitionist still is viable with ALH for the grenade energy and tossing out two shots pretty rapidly.

Sightline Survey - Arc 180 rpm Hand Cannon:

    • First Column:
      • Keep Away
      • Enlightened Action
      • To The Pain
      • Strategist
    • Second Column:
      • Voltshot
      • Kill Clip
      • Opening Shot
      • Precision Instrument
      • Encore
      • Desperate Measures
      • Eye of the Storm
    • Combos:
      • Keep Away/To The Pain/Enlightened Action + Voltshot/KillClip/Encore/EOTS
    • Thoughts:
      • 180 HCs just never feel good enough to use for me anywhere in this game. Their damage in PVE is just not good and they're outclassed in PVP.
      • I guess get this if you don't have a Posterity from Deep Stone Crypt and really want an Arc 180.

Corrasion - Arc Heavy Burst Pulse Rifle:

    • First Column:
      • Perpetual Motion
      • Enlightened Action
    • Second Column:
      • Voltshot
      • Eye of the Storm
    • Combos:
      • For PVE you want Voltshot in the second. For PVP you want EOTS in the second.
    • Thoughts:
      • Take your pick of the two perks I listed in the first column for either PVE or PVP. I think either of them work in both modes.
    • Look, if Voltshot is available it's the only perk I'm taking for PVE. It's just too good at add clear and stunning champs.
    • In PVP I think EOTS is the only real contender.

Timeworn Wayfarer - Solar Aggressive Frame Scout (lever action):

    • First Column:
      • Heal Clip
      • Fourth Time's the Charm
      • Keep Away
      • To The Pain
    • Second Column:
      • Desperate Measures
      • Incandescent
      • Precision Instrument
      • Opening Shot
      • Eye of the Storm
    • Combos:
      • PVE: Heal Clip + Incandescent or FTTC + Precision Instrument
      • PVP: Keep Away/To The Pain + Opening Shot/EOTS
    • Thoughts:
      • Heal Clip Incandescent is such a good combo and if a gun has it I'm going to take it.
      • I think scouts are in an iffy place across the whole game but this gun has good rolls that I think you can make work. I think on some of the slightly bigger maps it could shine in PVP.

Aberrant Action - Solar Rocket Sidearm:

    • First Column:
      • Heal Clip
      • Ambitious Assassin
      • Threat Detector
      • Beacon Rounds
      • Field Prep
      • Strategist
    • Second Column:
      • Incandescent
      • Reverberation
      • Swashbuckler
      • Demolitionist
      • Golden Tricorn
      • Harmony
    • Combos:
      • Heal Clip + Incandescent
      • Beacon Rounds + Reverberation
      • Ambitious Assassin + Anything
    • Thoughts:
      • I had not looked at this thing till I wrote this and holy shit is it stacked. Many many options to choose from here.

    Chronophage - Void Trace Rifle:

    • First Column:
      • Repulsor Brace
      • Feeding Frenzy
      • Auto Loading Holster
    • Second Column:
      • Destabilizing Rounds
      • Desperate Measures
      • Demolitionist
    • Combos:
      • Repulsor Brace + Destabilizing
      • Feeding Frenzy/ALH + Desperate Measures/Demolitionist
    • Thoughts:
      • Limited but useful combos on this one I think. I haven't messed around with Traces enough on Prismatic to see if they compliment the subclass well. I'm sure the void combo will work well regardless.

Speleologist - Solar Rapid Fire Machine Gun:

    • First Column:
      • Envious Assassin
    • Second Column:
      • Killing Tally
      • Incandescent
      • Adagio
    • Combos:
      • Envious Assassin + Killing Tally/Adagio/Incandescent
    • Thoughts:
      • Rapid Fire Machine Guns kind of suck across all game modes right now IMO. I'm going to use this for add clear if at all so I think Envious Assassin is the obvious choice to keep this thing from having to reload after firing it for 4 seconds.
      • Killing Tally is probably a good move here but Adiagio might actually make this thing really good if it pumps up the damage and makes it function closer to an adaptive frame.
      • While this has Heal Clip in the first column, that requires you to reload the gun after a kill and you never want to be reloading a machine gun.

Faith Keeper - Void Precision Rocket Launcher (tracking):

    • First Column:
      • Auto Loading Holster
      • Clown Cartridge
      • Field Prep
    • Second Column:
      • Bipod
      • Explosive Light
      • Lasting Impression
      • Demolitionist
    • Combos:
      • Take your pick of the above but I think ALH wins the first column.
    • Thoughts:
      • Having Demolitionist in the second column with ALH in the first might be interesting. I'd be curious how many rockets you can get off with an exotic that gives you extra grenade charges like Starfire.
      • Alternatively, having ALH with Bipod might offset the drawbacks of having Bipod.

Ill Omen - Stasis Caster Frame Sword:

    • First Column:
      • Relentless Strikes
      • Tireless Blade
      • Unrelenting
      • Attrition Orbs
    • Second Column:
      • Cold Steel
      • Whirlwind Blade
      • Surrounded
      • Vorpal
      • One For All
      • Assassin's Blade
    • Combos:
      • Another weapon with a lot of good combos. I'm interested in Tireless Blade + Cold Steel
    • Thoughts:
      • I think this is a first of it's kind weapon with the stasis caster frame. Lots of interesting combos and I think with the projectile attack you want to use this more like a gun than a sword?

TFS Crafted Weapons - The Pale Heart

Time to look at our new crafted weapons and see what rolls might be good! I typically only list what perks I think are good or combo well together and not everything. This post is just going to cover the Pale Heart Weapons

    --------------------------

Origin Trait: Dealer's Choice - Final Blows grant super energy, equipping more Pale Heart Weapons increases this effect.

Bold Endings - Stasis Heavy Burst Hand Cannon:

    • First Column:
      • Rapid Hit
      • Headstone
      • To The Pain: Taking damage increases handling and aim assist till the weapon is stowed
      • Strategist: Final blows generate class ability energy. Using your class ability improves stability.
    • Second Column:
      • Eye of the Storm
      • Golden Tricorn
      • Moving Target
      • Dragonfly
      • Desperate Measures
      • Demolitionist
    • Combos:
      • Rapid Hit + Tricorn/Desperate Measures
      • Headstone + Dragonfly/Demolitionist
      • To the Pain + EOTS/Moving Target
    • Thoughts:
      • Lots of weird combos on this one. Two PVE rolls and one monster PVP roll. I don't think we've had Headstone+Dragonfly so that will be particularly interesting with headshots creating a crystal that immediately gets shattered.

Someday - Kinetic Precision Pellet Shotgun:

    • First Column:
      • Elemental Capacitor
      • Threat Detector
      • Threat Remover: Landing all pellets increases reload speed, handling, and stability.
    • Second Column:
      • Opening Shot
    • Thoughts:
      • IMO shotguns still struggle in PVE except for a few specific ones like Heritage and I'm using that shotgun if I'm doing DPS.
      • Not much we haven't seen elsewhere in the game. I think the benefit of this is that it's a precision frame you can craft while the other two popular PVP shotguns are random rolls.

The Call - Strand Rocket Sidearm:

    • First Column:
      • Stats for All
      • Demolitionist
      • Beacon Rounds
      • Slice
      • Lead from Gold
      • Strategist
      • Subsistence
    • Second Column:
      • Hatchling
      • Multikill Clip
      • Golden Tricorn
      • Vorpal
      • Adreneline Junkie
      • Desperate Measures
      • One for All
    • Combos:
      • Take your pick
    • Thoughts:
      • This thing has not left my primary slot since I got one during the campaign. It hits exceptionally hard and fits in nice with prismatic.
      • There's so many perk combos to go for and try out on this one I'm honestly not sure what I'm going to end up crafting on this.

No Hesitation - Solar Support Frame Assault Rifle:

    • First Column:
      • Overflow
      • Demolitionist
      • Grave Robber
      • Subsistence
      • Physic: Rapidly healing allies grants you and your allies restoration.
    • Second Column:
      • Circle of Life: Rapidly healing allies increases damage
      • Desperate Measures
      • Frenzy
      • Incandescent
    • Combos:
      • Physic + Circle of Life
      • Overflow/Demolitionist/Subsistence + Desperate Measures/Frenzy/Incandescent
    • Thoughts:
      • I think you want to go one of two ways with this gun. Lean hard into the healing with the two perks that are only on this gun or increase it's damage so you can heal allies by shooting from the hip and avoid reloading
      • Either way this gun is the hardest of support weapons in the entire game. Two guardians shooting each other are very hard to kill.

Axial Lacuna - Solar Precision Fusion Rifle:

    • First Column:
      • Firmly Planted
      • Threat Detector
      • Reconstruciton
      • Cornered
      • Demolitionist
      • Eye of the Storm
    • Second Column:
      • Incandescent
      • Controlled Burst
      • Kickstart
      • Surrounded
    • Combos:
      • Reconstruction + Incandescent/Controlled Burst/Surrounded
      • Firmly Planted/Threat Detector/EOTS + Kickstart/Surrounded
    • Thoughts:
      • Nothing new here we haven't seen before. Reconstruction + Controlled Burst is very good and I can see an argument for incandescent or surrounded.
      • PVP combos are nothing surprising

Embraced Identity - Void Adaptive Sniper:

    • First Column:
      • Opening Shot
    • Second Column:
      • Moving Target
    • Thoughts:
      • Does this thing have PVE rolls? Sure, but Snipers are likely never to be as good as they once were in PVE. I haven't taken a sniper into anything serious in PVE since Garden of Salvation.
      • That leaves us with the classic PVP roll.

Pro Memoria - Strand Aggressive Machine Gun:

    • First Column:
      • Reconstruction
      • To The Pain
      • Demolitionist
      • Hatchling
      • Envious Assassin
    • Second Column:
      • Tap the Trigger
      • Dragonfly
      • Frenzy
      • Desperate Measures
    • Combos:
      • Reconstruction/Demolitionist/Envious Assassin + Frenzy/Dragonfly/Desperate Measures/
      • To The Pain + Tap the Trigger
    • Thoughts:
      • Machine guns tend to be good add clear weapons instead of sustained damage weapons so that's what I'm looking at this one for with the PVE combos
    • If you wanted to use this in PVP there's really only one option.

False Idols - Solar Vortex Frame Sword:

    • First Column:
      • Relentless Strikes
      • Incandescent
      • Unrelenting
      • Attrition Orbs
    • Second Column:
      • One for All
      • Vorpal
      • Bait and Switch
      • Chain Reaction
      • Surrounded.
    • Combos:
      • Take your pick
    • Thoughts:
      • Pretty standard PVE sword stuff here however Incandescent + Chain Reaction sounds like it might be nutty.

This was a limited release a few years ago. Glad it’s getting a wider release with new features.

  • Yes I was able to after about 1.5 hours of trying.

  • Tuning keys upgrade recommendation?
  • Agreed. I just like it to make changing strings slightly easier.

  • Tuning keys upgrade recommendation?
  • I bought these for my Les Paul last year. They fit perfectly.

TFS Has Leaked. No Spoilers here please.
  • See my above edit to the original post. Seems like the full campaign wasn’t playable.

  • TFS Ability Tuning Updates
  • Good point. I still think making you move around a bit instead of standing still basically shooting a wall is more interesting.

  • TFS Ability Tuning Updates
  • cool opinion bro

  • TFS Ability Tuning Updates
  • Yeah they didn’t nerf Well enough to not make it mandatory for most encounters. They also don’t say anything about stacking it with a rift.

I think the problem is more encounter design than Well itself. 90% of boss encounters are some version of “stand still in area to do damage”. It the same reason Rhulk is such a good boss fight.

I am glad both are hopefully not going to be oppressive in Trials anymore.

  • Forsaken special on PSN
  • I believe Forsaken also gets you access to Last Wish and all weapons from that raid. That being said no one will know if it goes on sale before TFS.

EDIT: Last Wish is free for everyone as of a few seasons ago. There's no reason to buy the Forsaken IMO.

  • Uh oh the new AC character is woke
  • https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yasuke

The character is based on Yasuke (a real person) and he’s a playable character in the new Assassins Creed set in feudal Japan.

Could they have made the character a Japanese man? Sure. That is a valid complaint. I think Yasuke is also fine considering his story.

  • Uh oh the new AC character is woke
  • I had not heard of him till the anime. The soundtrack goes hard. I couldn’t do the show but I’m not big on anime.
