Sacrificial fire

I keep running into these after I complete the level, is there any way I can get more creatures to spawn without wasting too many turns?

While the fire is not used, they will keep spawning as usual, you can run around looking for a fight, but I'd suggest keep zoomed out and watch for doors to see where enemies are roaming. You can also use something to draw them in if you have e.g. rage scrolls
- I thought there was supposed to be increased spawn rate while the fire is in your line of sight?

you could try sleeping close to the fire, as generally when i sleep more enemies spawn
