Ukraine now in full control of Kherson Oblast’s left bank, forcing Russians to flee from reinforced ‘Surovikin defensive line'
Ukrainian forces have gained control of the Dnipro left bank’s floodplain in Kherson Oblast, forcing the Russians to build new defensive lines on hills farther from the river, former Aidar Battalion company commander Yevhen Dykyi told Radio NV.
It is very difficult to develop any success there for the same reason why Russians left the right bank - the supply is very difficult over the river.
And yet the Ukraine forces are successful! I heard they developed new technology called bridges and boats.
You assume Russians did not have this technology? Getting few miles with foot solders with artillery support from the right bank is one thing. To fully develop this into meaningful strategic advance with heavy military equipment is another thing. It is difficult and risky. With all my heart I wish them good luck especially because I think it is very hard to advance in that direction.
