while for the most part I have appreciated they have up on Raw V. Smack Down for Survivor Series, but part of me really hoped to sure the WWE Universe with how good a Nick Aldis v. Adam Peirce match would be.
Does WWE recognize they are both NWA World Heavyweight Champions? I think that's a neat thing they should be pointing out even without a match between them, I'm not even sure Adam can still go, he's been retired for 10 years. It really would have been great to see, maybe WWE could come back around to this for Mania since they have like 10 hours of time to fill those nights.
It feels kind of like the Attitude Era when the WWF barely if at all recognized that the Stooges, Patterson & Brisco, were big wrestlers in their day.
@JelloBrains@n7gifmdn@TellumSiege who knows with HHH at the helm. 2 years ago no way, but I have heard that Trips actually has Flair's old Domed Globe on his office wall.
@SquaredCircle@n7gifmdn@TellumSiege Two NWA real worlds CHAMPIONS would be a good old school fight. Unfortunately between the casuals and the Smarks it would get booed out of the building
@SquaredCircle@TellumSiege well bringing Punk back is about the most WWE thing they could do. They gotta fuck with a good thing right? Well hopefully that means Roman is finally going to lose his title.
If it's really Orton coming, then Orton almost has to win. Otherwise, I'd like Judgement Day to win, but in winning the cracks continue, I almost expected Damien to bring the briefcase with him just in case he wanted to use it.
What do they show on Peacock Premium Plus or whatever the no-ads version is called during all these ads? I forget every month how many ads there are until the PLE is on and they start running.
I'm not too disappointed in spending only $5 instead of $10 then, I can deal with the ads to miss the recaps. I just wondered if premium customers got segments or something, if it's just videos I'm not upgrading.
I'm so happy they realized that Santos works best as his NXT heel character. I love this guy's work and hope he gets pushed towards a title when they are all done breaking records just to break them.
I think this is the first time I've seen him since he lost his mask at Triplemania a few years ago. Feels like he is missing something, but I can't tell what it is.
In NXT he led the Legado Del Fantasma, clearly an homage to the LWO, but they were heels and had Elektra Lopez instead of Zelina Vega as their manager. On the main roster, he was made second fiddle to Rey Mysterio and forced to be the crappy face we've seen this year. All around his heel work is head and shoulders above his work with the LWO. Obviously, that's my opinion.
As a Lucha Libre AAA fan this one peekd my interest.
I'm out of the loop, usually I only watch WWE PPVs, partially because they do such a good job presenting the backstory of each match I don't feel like I have to watch the weekly show.
Last I recall both of these fellows were on NXT. Is this a pre-show match? I had stopped watching the pre-show as they present the same info during the PPV, but this would be worth tuning in for.
I was very disappointed by the number of times that either team celebrated their success rather than taking advantage of the situation, not the least being Lynch/Flair hug in the middle of the match
I'm a non-WWE watcher also but from what I can tell the Dragon Lee / Escobar match is part of the PPV card. Apparently it was supposed to be Carlito instead of Dragon Lee but the former was "attacked" on Smackdown and is too hurt to wrestle.
