That subreddit is an op. This is the top post (and the accompanying top comment on that post) right now:
EDIT:
I cannot find much info about Chuangcn.org but from their about page they sound Gonzaloist. Also their domain registrar is Godaddy so make of that what you will:
heavily western leftcom influenced for sure. they post anonymously but i wouldn't doubt that their class character is of privileged western educated rich expat petty bourgeoisie
I like how the comment asks whether China "will become" socialist not even bothering to ask whether they are proceeding from a false premise. No, China will not become socialist by 2050 because it already is socialist and has been since its liberation in 1949.
That subreddit is so aggressively incurious and so offended by the mere concept of learning something new which contradicts their preconceptions that i am starting to believe it cannot be anything other than an op. Maybe it didn't start out that way but it is one now.
Id take it a step farther and say that I wouldnt address the "socialistness" of an institution as a binary, but as a spectrum of characteristics (of which the PRC/CPC has many, but is lacking others)
Got banned for saying that China isn't state capitalist. Tbf I didn't really say it just copy and pasted some great comment from the GenZhou archive and linked to lemmygrad, but they got mad at me.
