Why does Human Rights Watch cite international law but not recognise the legitimacy of armed struggle against foreign occupation and domination? Am I missing something here? HRW has been doing this forever and I'm honestly asking why. That's like both siding Russia and Ukraine.
Armed struggle against foreign occupation usually doesn't involve shooting up music festivals AFAIK. Both sides are in serious breach of international law and it's kinda important to recognize that.
Yes I understand the power dynamics and history. No that doesn't make Hamas equal to the Palestinian people or make them symbolic of their struggle in any way. Hamas was literally brought to power by Netanyahu so that they'd do something like this so that Israel could eventually displace all of Gaza and the rest of the Palestinians.

Did you know that Palestine doesn't have a military? Peaceful protest is out of the question, so did you mean that Palestinian armed resistance should only attack Israeli miltary targets? That's naive to the point of being absurd, given the reality of the situation and the power dynamics. If you're interested in reality you can check out maps of how the Israeli occupation has expanded over the last 50 years (no, the confict didn't start on October 7th).
"Both sides bad" is a cowardly way to side with the oppressor.
That being said, I do appreciate your response to my comment and I hope you take the time to answer my question about how you see Palestinian armed resistance to foreign occupation being executed, if indeed you do think they should resist.
so basically it was probably IJ, but they don't have any physical evidence because the bomb squad took it all, who also claim it was Israel, and still haven't released a report.
Although it's weird because I'm pretty sure AJ already did a similar analysis and found that the rocket's trajectory didn't originate in Gaza.
I would assume Hamas would be very annoyed to learn it was IJ, and Israel's stance would more or less be the same.
