Strasbourg & Colmar

As im just on my way to Strasbourg and Colmar for the weekend, thank you for this community. 👍

Main goal is to see the Christmas markets, but what else should we not miss while being there?

Also how much French will I need to get around? I remember the basics, but well, don't want to offend anyone either.
