One could create a script that fetches all 2nd-level comments made by the Proton account account along with those comments' parents, and then aggregates all that into a post body.
I also don't go into Reddit anymore, unless the answer or solution that I'm looking for just happens to be there. But, I am curious, has anyone considered doing an AMA on Lemmy yet? If not, is it due to a technical limitation currently on Lemmy? Or, is it due to the smaller user base that would not bring a lot of value to an AMA?
It's a little quieter now, I think because everyone is busy with life stuff. I was planning to work with the mods in !askmeanything@lemmy.ca when I had time to get it rolling again (with locals to start off)
I do sometimes see AMA's being suggested on Lemmy, but none that i personally checked out, so i don't know how many people respond to them.
My guess is that it would probably depend more on how active a particular community is, since there doesn't seem to be a dedicated AMA community here, rather than a smaller user base. Some communities are not very active, others are very lively.
As for an AMA for Proton, i don't think they have joined lemmy yet and unfortunately, no one on reddit asked them to join here :-(
Normally I would vote against having anything from reddit ported over here, but in this case I would vote in favor, considering Proton deciding to only post on that sh*t site.
I agree and i never even go there, but i was alerted to an AMA.
I've waited to see if news would trickle down in this community, but it didn't. And a lot of what they mentioned there, are things that get often asked about here, so i decided to post the link.
I've never posted anything concerning reddit before, and am not planning to do so again, but this was an opportunity to basically share a bit of a proton roadmap.
I really like proton, but i would love them to share more of what they are doing and planning. I follow their blog, but they hardly ever post a roadmap.
