(dunk tank for the alt-right youtuber, not the OP who collected the information and posted it)
TLDR: 14/88 memes, Hitler's b'day memes, Tucker Carlson watch parties, and following Proud Boys and Libs of Tiktok.
Never was that big into Internet Historian, but I guess I'll remove the few videos I had in my watch later and tell youtube to stop recc'ing the channel now.
Whew. I guess you either go the idubbbz route and apologize/repent for all your past edginess and denounce that version of you and all the fans who still hold on to it or you become a nazi.
Well, there is a third option. You could be like H3 and seem all progressive and reformed till Israel starts genociding kids and then its "wat about hummus tho" and both-siding it till you've purged the leftist audience you were trying to build.
Watched some random video of his a couple years ago and my went bonkers, glad to know it's calibrated well. I think what set me off wasn't even anything explicit but some kind of chanbrain phrasing/shibboleth that immediately made me uneasy. Good riddance another kkkrakkker down.
He was pretty openly alt-right adjacent earlier on. A friend of mine who eventually stopped talking to me because I asked him to cool it with the fash rhetoric recommended him to me, lol
this was so unsurprising, i knew this immediately after the bike lock fugitive video that justified the guy's doxxing because "lol he looks like soyboy cuck leftie beta nu male!"
There are so many of these "barely hiding their fash levels" YouTube commentary accounts. EmpLemon, Oki, Turkey Tom. Those are just off the top of my head.

Pretty much yeah. I enjoyed a number of his videos since it was sort of nostalgic to relive Kony 2012, fyre festival, leroy jenkins, some of that pre-gamergate 4chan stuff, but yeah I pegged him as a 4chan nazi immediately just based on what he chose to cover. idubbbz, joji, tyler the creator, earl sweatshirt - that's really the way to do it. Recognize you were wrong but also young, and move forward.
I honestly got pretty excited when he uploaded that Man in Cave video. I thought he was going to leave making videos about 4chan raids behind and talk about real history
then this motherfucker came along last week and threw all that in the trash
I really enjoyed his Man in Cave video, so I took a look at the other videos on his channel. Clocked him as fash within seconds, and asked Youtube to not recommend his channel again. What a shame.
Unsurprised. My first encounter with Internet Historian was a recommendation by a Nazi I knew. To be clear, I knew them and then they became a Nazi (and trans, go figure), not that I knew them because they were a Nazi.
Oh wow, I remembered seeing those Tucker Carlson comments like years ago, didn't realize that they since deleted those comments and it wasn't public knowledge or something. That being said I only found those comments because they were immediately clockable as a fash from their content/thumbnails and googled them to see if they said any explicit non-dogwhistle shit publicly
like I'm surprised people are surprised? Their entire channel from the get go absolutely reeked of 4chan, their biggest hit videos outside of gamer content was "eww, tumblr queers" and "eww, furries"
I didn't pick up on the dog whistles throughout my time watching his content, but I'm not exactly the target audience for them. I also have a habit of not watching videos, just listening to them.
I stopped watching his content when he platformed JonTron. Out of his associated group of creators, I only follow OrdinaryThings and Fredrick Knudsen.
Saw SSFF make a tweet about this. This is unrelated, but I am so pleasantly surprised to see Derek managing not to miss at all even being on the platform as long as he has been. I watched him as a kid in the early 2010s when he still went by The Happy Video Game Nerd to counter Rolfe. Could have become a massive chud or fallen into gamergate and just never did. I mean it makes sense considering his whole thing has always been being pleasant and not tearing people down like toxic gamers wanted.
I've watched like 1 of this guy's videos ever and i didn't notice anything particularly fashy, but it was amazingly unfunny and uninteresting. for the life of me i can't figure out why he's popular.

Isn't his wife an IDF soldier or something? He's got a better excuse for [I've never intentionally watched H3's content so IDK what he does].
