[Mod Announcement] On adding moderators

I'm not sure at which point moderators should be added to the community, but relying on a single point of failure (myself) seems unwise.

The community here so far is absolutely fantastic, and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Azur Lane is built on WWII and the power of horny however, which could be the seeds of problems down the road. If one of those seeds starts to take root and I'm not online right then, it could lead to very bad things.

Potential moderation issues that could arise:

  • Neo-Nazis, tankies, imperialists, and hardcore nationalists
  • Faction wars (which practically ripped apart the original subreddit)
  • The lines between sfw, ecchi, and porn getting blurred
  • Destroyers, subs, and child alts of ships attracting certain crowds
  • Waifu wars, BIG vs small skirmishes, censorship apologists
  • "Azur Lane is just a Chinese bootleg of Kancolle" bait
  • And many more!

So tell me your thoughts, is it too early yet? Should we wait for more subscribers to give potential future mods a chance to arrive? Finally, how do we pick our mods when the times comes?

It is a lot of questions I know, but you don't have to feel obligated to answer all of them to give your thoughts. What is most important right now, is that you have a chance to give input, so that I don't accidentally go against what the community wants.
