California Gov. Newsom's administration orders state spending freeze as it braces for big budget problem, $86 billion deficit
As it braces for one of the biggest state budget shortfalls in state history, Gov. Gavin Newsom's administration is demanding that California state agencies freeze their spending.
In addition, there are options to reduce spending on schools and community colleges that could address nearly $17 billion of the budget problem.
How about we touch other stuff and not the education system for once.

14 0 ReplyIf I’m reading this right, they had to comply with federal tax extensions, which pushed a lot of the revenue out of the fiscal year.
If so, wouldn’t that revenue be extra in 2024?
