I just successfully opened my screechibg PSP, took out the screen and WD40'd the stepper motor.

Just wanted to say I feel very much accomplished and like a techie now.

I do NOT recommend Wd40. Use Silicon grease instead. do not use any lubricant that's petroleum based.
