Maybe. I think everyone shares some traits, but the hypersensitivity to physical sensations and dislike of transitions probably makes us do it more often than others.
I shower with cold water. Refreshing and ready to go in like five minutes.
Used to shower pretty hot around two years ago but now I actually prefer cold, even in winter.
I have very good skin so neither affected it negatively, but I think cold is better as it feels like the skin can retain its moisture better when using cold water.
I used to shower cold. I mainly do luke warm and then finish off cold.
Showering in the gyms messed me up because they only have one temperature and it's really hot so it messed up my gauge. I think cooler water is better in general too, not sure about the moisture stuff itself but I found myself itching less in winter after doing so. I also used to be afraid of stepping out of the shower because of the cold and it feels just fine now.
I want to like hot showers, but it dries out my skin so badly, and it makes me feel like a pierogi that's been left out too long; without any butter or sour cream
The pie chart doesn't indicate the total length of the shower, so it is feasible (and in fact the reality) that the little slice where I'm actually cleaning contains a real shower.
