The adrenaline pumping on BOTH sides gives reason to GO UNTIL either caught, or escape.
Using discernment when attempting to chase a suspect, when you know damn well you have areal and surveillance techniques to catch that suspect, but instead you continue the grand theft auto live video game being that you are in charge.
Now for the suspect problem, they are on an uncontrolled adrenaline rush, attempting to flee, with little to know understanding of the chaos ahead, the foolish suspect is RUNNING SCARED... and yet the "in control" car in pursuit is also on adrenaline.
The $150,000 patrol car, with v12 engine, anti-roll suspension, and brand new tires.. why a suspect thinks they can escape is the 16 year old who never grew up. We see the outcome 9/10 times.
