Use GoToSocial for my personal account

Since yesterday I use GoToSocial to replace my Mastodon account but unlike Mastodon I can't subscribe to Lemmy users and groups...

Small disappointment, but a lot of hope.

if it aint federating, why bother? understably, i dont 'get' the microblog side of the 'verse... but interoperability is the point.. isnt it? why jump to crippled product?

you could take ask on the repo or ask the dev, they're obvs active on the fediverse. (poss relevant: https://github.com/superseriousbusiness/gotosocial/issues/1468.)

- On my instance it marks the Lemmy account and group as locked and the account must validate the subscription. I don't have this problem using a Mastodon account though.

With Vivaldi Social you can (similar mascot), full integrated in the Fediverse.

  Yes, but why you'll use an social network which isn't federated? If you don't want Mastodon, there are a lot of other alternatives, apart of Lemmy.
