Since hitting v1 the release cadence has been roughly one per month with last month’s being particularly large. I’d say that given the holidays, and the propensity of tech jobs to front load the year with performance reviews etc, you have a while yet before being alarmed. Is there some feature you were anticipating or desperately hankering for that you feel is delayed?
Yes, every new feature of 0.19.2… moderation tools. More Apollo features that are missing. Also the last update wasn’t large at all. I’m speaking from a paying customers point of view. Not a freebie user.
Most of my time last update was spent on push notifications, takes a while to set up a dedicated server, APNS integration and all that stuff. With holidays and other work on my plate I havent had the time to work on Avelon all that much. Apollo was a full time project years in the making, hopefully Lemmy will grow to eventually support that kind of full time work
!arctic@lemmy.world is pretty awesome. It has notification including watchers and supports 0.19 and is a native swift app and very smooth and polished. It’s still in TestFlight beta.
