Do you have swap file?
5 1 ReplyYes 2GB Swap in opensuse
3 0 ReplyI'd have a swap file that is 2x your memory.
11 2 ReplySo 32GB then? I have 16GB of RAM
6 0 ReplyIf it is more than 4GB, have swap equal to the size of ram
10 0 ReplyBut I can pretend I have 128Gb ram 🙃
4 0 ReplyYou can never have too much RAM
4 0 ReplyJust download more if needed

If you have plenty of storage I would do it. Some wine applications love to stall my system and a large swap helps a bunch.
5 0 ReplyOr if you read another one of my comments I found out that this was isolated to SMT 3 Nocturne Remaster on Steam. For some reason if I try to boot that with VSeeFace my PC crashes but not with the original version or other games. It's an Atlus being Atlus problem

2 0 ReplyMaybe use swap on zram instead, like it is ootb on fedora

I have no swap file and everything works fine until I run out of RAM. You will know when that happens because it's in the error logs
