I never thought it would happen. I assumed he wanted to break the PL goals record too much to want to leave but I was wrong. I hope the team invests the money wisely and not like they did with Bale but I don't have faith in that. Good luck Harry, hope you do some great things over there.
The 'no trophies' narration probably really got him unfortunately. Maybe if Haland wasn't at City he'd feel that new goalscoring that he'd get wouldn't last as long as Shearer. Also I was hoping that the contract with FCB will be shorter so there's a glimmer of hope that he comes back to claim the record later on but it seems unlikely now.
It seems that transfer approach has changed to data driven so there's higher probability that there will be less disappointments than after Bale.
