It's hard to put the work stuff into perspective when you have life stuff going on too, huh? Not to get all zen, but it will pass. At least, I've always found it does.
Not that there won't be new stresses and trouble in the future... Just that they'll likely be different ones.
Anyway, acknowledging it and saying it out loud is a particularly healthy response.
As for me, I'm in a period of flux and uncertainty. You can get used to it, or even enjoy it after a while. I'm not quite there yet though.
Same here, work has had a lot of politics lately and I'm squeezed in the middle. They fired a whole team and gave me all their work on top of my own, so it's been a total grind recently. I got a pay bump but it's hard to tell if it's worth the work life balance.
I just need a couple more years of salary and then I can afford to go out on my own, which is the dream.
