Walt Disney Animation Studios has announced "Moana 2", to be released in theaters on November 27, 2024.

Moana 2, Disney Animation’s all-new feature-length sequel to 2016’s Oscar-nominated film, will be released in theaters in 2024.

Moana was the most streamed movie of 2023, and has been in the top 10 list for a few years, so it makes sense that Disney would want to capitalize on this.
- I think my daughter makes up most of those streams.
  
  Pretty sure I'm at least a third of them.
- I had a look at the table, I'm surprised that Frozen isn't closer to Moana, but I guess it's due to its age? Kids who grew up with this are now a bit older, and the younger prefer Moana?

  Frozen was really good i am dissapointed it's not on the top though frozen 2 sucked . Wonder if moana will go in the same direction.
Does this mean their planned live-action version is canceled?
