You know how every flashlight you've ever owned is a piece of shit that barely if ever works?
They don't have to be that way. You get what you pay for. Fenix, Nitecore, Acebeam, Thrunite, Wurkkos and to a lesser extent, Klarus,
Klarus has had a lot of quality control failures in their recent generations of lights.
Then there's Nebo, Nebo lights aren't made very well, they flicker at just the right frequency to ruin video recordings and photos.
Same goes for headlamps and their sketchy durability. Could scarcely get one to last more than a year before some switch or battery door failure. Sung the praises of Thrunite when I found them. Terribly disappointed at the discontinuation of the TH-20 design. Taking either 14500/AA batteries was just great.
Nitecore HC65 UHE. Don't buy it on amazon. Buy it from one of nitecore's own stores.

You got a recommendation for a decent little pocket light? I had a Streamlight Microstream give up and...I dunno.
