Is Hollywood out of original ideas?
- No, Hollywood is full of original and creative ideas.
  
  But the film industry isn't in the business of original ideas. They make and sell marketable products with the intention of financial return.
  
  There's that famous quote from the CEO of Disney where he says something like "we don't make art, we make money. Sometimes in the process of making money we make art, but that's just a coincidence" (me paraphrasing)
