make sure you're not taking a magnesium supplement at the same time as a stimulant medication. magnesium changes the acidity of your gut and can drastically affect the way your body metabolizes stimulants. if you take a stimulant in the morning, it's okay to take magnesium at night, you just don't want them running into each other in your gut essentially.
Where do I get magnesium?
It's sold as a nutritional supplement. Western countries at least don't seem to regulate it, it's pretty easily available, and since it's a supplement you probably don't need a prescription.
pills. the cheapest ones are magnesium oxide, the best ones are magnesium glycinate. don't take magnesium citrate, it'll make you shit your pants
