Deleted my lemmy world profile and signed up on here the same day they tried to pull that shit.
I don't understand why all these so called techy people can't spin their own instances. Fuck censorship and fuck lemmy.world.
Ok to be fair not everybody has a stable or reachable ipv4 address or an ipv6
Hosting != in-house.
My instance sits on a digital ocean droplet and uses about 3-4 dollars of resources a month.
I am a bit out of the loop, what did that instance do ?
