World of Goo 2 launches in May on the Epic Store - but Linux support from their website

World of Goo 2 was quite a surprise reveal late last year and now it actually has a released date, although it won't be on Steam.

So if I'd wanted to play on, say, Windows and Linux, I'd have to purchase the game twice? And sync my savegame manually?

Yeah, no, I think I'm out. Release it on Steam.
- The official site says the DRM-free download includes both Windows and Linux (and Mac), just like the original game did.

I was a day one buyer of World of Goo back in... 2009?
And of course I want to play the sequel too. Glad I don't have to use Some horrible web store, although I had preferred to have a choice where to buy.
I hope there's a collector's edition for the Switch or something. World of Goo was genuinely amazing for simple puzzle game. They just delivered super hard on art, music and storytelling
