I don't really know what the solution is but messaging needs to be better. I talk to so many people who worry about these issues and a lot of them are on the left. There needs to be a clear plan for how to ensure any problems are mitigated and idealism isn't a solution

That's less immigration than during Bush Jr.'s term, simply with better enforcement. The country didn't fall apart then, it's not falling apart now.
