Advocacy groups say the quiet policy change and weak enforcement mechanisms leave a lot to be desired for the safety of users on the platform formerly called Twitter.
Good. Fuck Chaya Raichik and her little army of bigots. And fuck Elon Musk for removing the rules that helped protect trans people on Twitter in the first place. Let this basket of deplorables fight it out amongst themselves.
Oh, I got my hopes up, but this headline is slightly misleading. It's just shadowbanning posts that have misgendering and deadnaming in them. A baby step in the right direction I guess
Well there was someone who was shadow banned on Reddit by mistake for years, and they thought everyone hated them because no one replied or upvoted. So it's not always the best option.
We found out that Reddit has been operating at a loss for twenty years now, so I expect the next great and amazing business move from Musk will be a pump and dump IPO where they offer first crack to the Sooper Dooper Twitter X Blue Premium Ultra users, and all the right-wing shitheads will talk about how amazing and glorious and brave this move is while none of them buy any shares at all.
