Spike Lee Says Francis Ford Coppola Screened 30 Minutes of ‘Megalopolis’: “OMG Amazing”
We all want Francis Ford Coppola’s “Megalopolis” to turn out great. This could be the master’s final film, but, more importantly, one he’s been working on for more than 40 years.
Director Mike Figgis, who shot a behind the scenes doc on the set of “Megalopolis” described the film as “Julius Caesar meets Blade Runner" and that the runtime would be around 2 hours
Sounds like a lifelong dream to make this movie and he’s making it happen. The spike lee comment was terrible like a text from a tween
For a moment I was confusing it for the cancelled Apple show Metropolis...I was really looking forward to that. But now I know this movie exists and am excited for it. I love original epic sci-fi!
