I was a little worried when they had him in the vault video.
Wasting the Goggle-boy like that would be almost as bad as getting Anthony Hopkins for your show and killing off his character by the end of the season.

Personally, I think the setting is the only interesting thing about fallout. So I'm optimistic. I mean how much worse can they do than "that old man is your baby".

I'm a bit iffy on the look of the ghouls, and the power armour looks a bit off...but this is basically a dream show for me. I'm cautiously optimistic that this will be great.
I was hoping some of the writing staff from 2 or New Vegas, but the production cast looks solid for what they're going for Nolan or one of the producers bringing a lot of people from West world. One of the writers from Captain Marvel attached as a producer so should stay relevant for the everything is woke gang

Reading their comment, I think they were saying that that type of crowd will latch onto this one detail (that a writer from Captain Marvel is working on the show) and won't shut up about how "woke" the Fallout show has become.
