Idk who Linda Blair is, but that panel is still hilarious if you just remove the caption at the bottom.
Ok i had to do some sleuthing but she was the actress from the original exorcist, that had a projectile vomit scene
It is still funny. I also like to think of Larsen debating whether enough people would get the joke without the Linda Blair reference. At the time he clearly thought it was helpful.
Well, the girl with the backwards head makes it a little too subtle imo, so the caption helps.
One of the few cultural reference strips, definitely causes it to show it's age.
