A Guinness World Record-holding blueberry variety could break new ground for the fruit in Australia, according to its Mid North Coast grower.
In short: A berry weighing 20.4 grams has broken the Guinness World Record for the heaviest blueberry.
The average weight of a blueberry is between a gram and 3.5 grams.
What's next? The country's largest berry producer, Costa Berries, says it will continue research into the quality and size of its blueberries.
