DF54 vs. DF64 | How Much Difference Can 10 Millimeters Make?
It seems both produce nearly identical grind profile. The DF54 is slower.
I'm considering replacing a Sette with a DF54.
Does anyone have the DF54? Impressions?
From the video I watched both grinders are basically the same. Speed and larger burr choices are what you are gaining by going with the 64. Extraction and consistency were basically the same for both grinders.
I have 64 with SSPs, and loving it.

I was totally not in the market for a new grinder, but the review was compelling and it's always encouraging to hear from satisfied customers. The grinder I currently have is quite nice, but I over-bought on size and have a hopper that holds nearly a pound of beans; I rarely grind more than a shot a day, for myself.
The 54 looks just about perfect, and it's nice to know that people with the 64 are happy with the build quality and performance.
Does the anti-static feature really seem to work, in your experience? Of everything, it seems the most questionable, but static is one of my biggest problem in my current setup. If the anti-static mechanism on these actually work, that alone would be worth the purchase!

Mine is the OG DF64, anti static feature is not there. RDT. I got mine because of SSP compatibility and my Eureka Mignon is showing its age. And I wanted something that can handle espresso and filter.
No idea. The Sette starts at $300. It's conincal. All-plastic. Its motor is pretty powerful and it grinds fast. Mine reduces 18gr of any coffee to dust in less than 8 seconds.
I don’t think it’s higher end than the 64. I’ve heard not great things from sette owners and I personally prefer single dosing into the df64. Two different machines really. I like the simplicity and ease of maintenance and the ability to fix things myself with fewer electronics.
I believe the 64 has a better range of alternative burrs, but if it's so, it probably won't be so for long if the 54 is popular
I've been looking at both for a bit now and it seems like the 64 isn't as large as thought. 🤔🤔 Looking for second hand deals. 😅
