TIL chitin is not just a made up Morrowind word and actually makes sense as armor padding.
I had no idea mushrooms had it, but it's what insect carapaces are made of.

Japanese は is pronounced "wa" when used as the topic particle (as it is in the example), but still written "ha"
Wouldn't the transliteration defer to the phonetic rendering, though?
